Aimee and Nick seriously get all the hearts eyes for their low-key Stuart elopement at Veteran’s Memorial Park. These two both served in the Air Force so it only felt right for them to have their elopement at Veteran’s Memorial Park. With all the flags and memorials in the background, it was an amazing tribute to those that served. Veterans hold a special place in my heart. It’s always such an honor to be able to capture our military heros’ love stories.
Aimee and Nick met at their secret surf spot and hit it off immediately. Nick proposed back in July 2018. At the time, he was learning how to play the guitar. Nick learned her favorite song and on the day he proposed, he played it for her. Afterwards, they went to dinner and then he brought her back to where they first met – their secret surf spot. Once they were there, Nick got down on one knee and proposed to Aimee. Love stories that make full circle back to the place it all happened give me all the feels.
On their elopement day and surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged vows under a gorgeous banyan tree. Afterwards we walked the park for bride and groom portraits, then headed to a local restaurant where they cut cake and had dinner with everyone. It was the most simple and perfect way to tie the knot.
This Stuart elopement was everything and I loved Aimee and Nick’s vibe. It was so wholesome and humble. They are some of the chillest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and it really shows in the photos.
